Pat McManus " The Professor"
Guitarist for the bands Mamas Boys, Celtus and currently, Indian. Supremely talented showman and musician. His gigs are electrified with his style and presence on the guitar. Also he currently teaches guitar at home in Fermanagh.
Mamas boys were personally asked by Phil Lynott to back Thin Lizzie on their tour. Also toured with Hawkwind, Bon Jovi and Gary Moore. Session guitarist with artists such as John Parr and Tricky.
Pat has a huge fan base and its not hard to see why. He electrifies audiances with his blistering solo's. He lives in Fermanagh now, teaches and plays with his band Indian and as a session player.
Johnny Gallagher
Widely acknowledged as one of the finest guitar players in Ireland & the UK, Johnny Gallagher is first and foremost an explosive live entertainer.
He has scorched his way through Festivals, Clubs & Venues all over Europe and is held in awe by musicians and fans alike in his native Ireland.
His live shows (both Solo and with his impressively powerful band Boxtie) feature a trawl through his own original material interspered with stunning personal versions of songs from the likes of Pink Floyd, The Band, Lynrd Skynrd, Hendrix, Peter Green and Jimmie Rogers among others.
Connie Murray
Connie is doing the rounds, teaching guitar in and around Donegal for 10 years and playing for 20. He currently fronts and plays with those badboys, The Reprobates. Connie is on hand to see to your needs over the weekend, and to make this an unforgettable experience for those participating.
Brian Sweeney
Brian is teaching guitar 18 years now, from 5 year olds to 80. Usually playing with several bands on the go, his talents are well sought after for backing trad music to his first love, rock. A patient and engaging teacher, we are lucky to have such an experienced guitarist/tutor with us this year.
